ECO IRS Exemption: Steps For Inclusion
Many churches have asked to be included under ECO’s 501(c)(3) Federal Group Exemption and we are glad to help make that happen. There are several steps you will need to complete to be approved by the IRS to be part of ECO’s Group Exemption.
Financial Review As Required by ECO Polity
ECO churches are required by ECO Polity to arrange for an independent financial review annually, and shall publish the report to the congregation and to the presbytery. We have a document to provide guidance for this process.
