Rideshare Safety and Sexual Abuse Prevention

Rideshare apps are a convenient way to get around town, especially when traveling at night, leaving a bar after drinking, or just trying to avoid parking hassles. However, using a rideshare app means getting into a stranger’s car, which is never completely risk-free. Often, dangerous situations such as speeding or reckless driving put you at risk of injury in a car crash. In more serious cases, rideshare passengers have been physically attacked, sexually harassed, or assaulted.

Offered through Church Mutual, Jackson Lewis provides resources to minimize the risk of employment-related liability and claims. It offers comprehensive risk management products and services available at no cost. Member churches can register to gain access to Jackson Lewis portal by using code CM2021.

Ministry Safe

Offered through Church Mutual, Ministry Safe provides resources and full training to help proactively prevent child sexual abuse. This Abuse Prevention Systems offers a condensed version of their child abuse prevention workshop to be viewed online at no cost. Church Mutual policyholders are eligible to receive a 50% discount on an annual membership, and 20% off all online training.
